I used to watch a lot of Tokusastsu when I was young teenager. But when I started to watch again recently,
Kamen rider Kabuto has left a very big disappointment in me that I had decided to drop watching Tokusatsu.
However, after hearing so many good feedback about the new series of Kamen rider etc, I decided to give
Tokusatsu one last try.
So can you recommend "The Best 5 Tokusatsu Series" that you have ever watched?

I am new age Rider fan and deep follower of Super Sentai.
I started with where you stopped with Den-O (if like time travel and clumsy but noble rider this for you) and now Kiva (creatures of the night meet over the two periods of time)
But when it comes to Sentai each year its different and unique with new ideas of relationships
But when comes to choosing each Tokusatsu is good viewing

KAMEN RIDER BLACK + BLACK RX KAMEN RIDER AGITO KAMEN RIDER KABUTO KAMEN RIDER The NEXT KAMEN RIDER BLADE thats the five rider you should watch so you may never regret for the rest of your life! kamen rider is intended for kids, true, but doesnt mean that us adult cant watch it. I dont like DEn O or Kiva, they are starting to be too much like Sentai!! Dont watch Hibiki too, though their suit is cool, but whats with the DRUM AND MUSIC INSTRUMENT?  !!!! |

Kamen rider Series:
Kamen rider Black , ZO and Ryuuki.
Sentai:
Jetman
others:
GARO
but i think the best of the best, i would say CHOJIN SENTAI JETMAN in Story, Design, Char Development and Song.

chojin sentai jetman? are you sure??!  so far what i know, the most famous sentai ever appear in indo was Goggle Five, i am not sure if you ever watched it but the music was very catchy and the story was good. thats the best sentai after power ranger that i ever watched as a kid. |

There high reviews for Jetman thru Net-world as great series but I have not got a chance to see it my self.
Google 5 was the first series to use the wrist henshin devices, I also loved the opening theme song its very catchy

YEAH! Wrist henshin is the best, even i love it when Yaguruma henshin into zabee using a wrist zecter. I reckon that habit is brought by goggle 5. For me:
Kamen Rider: Black, Black RX, Kabuto, Agito, Kuuga.
Sentai: Dairanger, Maskman, Jetman, Hurricanger is OK.
Man, tokusatsu now kinda bad compare to the past.

CHOJIN SENTAI JETMAN is one of the sentai that is not CHEESY and mostly got high reviews from a lot of Website. their DVDs are limited as well and very very expensive..
but mostly i reckon it is the best because i watched it till the end, and every episode, there is nothing boring, and the chars personality are more mature.
a lot twist plot is happening as well. most of the future sentai doesn't have that..
PLUS their opening and ending song is totally awesome.
i guess it is the only sentai that is targeted to more mature audience.

Just recently got hooked up with Silver Kamen and Giant Robo!! Giant robo has the anime version and old toku version, really cool!

It seem every year that Kamen Rider and Super Sentai are battling for top place of fans.
In 2008 it was Kiva for me. this year seems to be another rider in Decade but it is only just past 10 ep so far. Only time will tell
